Is Waheguru Vishnu?

Vaar 1 Pauri 49 - Bhai Gurdaas Ji

Waheguru was imparted (by Guru Nanak) to the people. This talks about all forms of Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva; they are not equal to the Creator. It also states that Satguru Nanak is the only one who gives naam for people to chant to meet the Sat Roop of Waheguru. For people coping, saying “vashudev hari gobind raam vaar,” which is found in the vaaran, is literally Vishnu’s name in every jug. Vaashudev means that one who resides in all, hari means the remover of the 5 doots, Gobind means the protector of the world, and raam means all-pervading. All these attributes are given to Waheguru. Furthermore, we see this discussed in Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Bani, where Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji uses these same examples. Within the Vaaran above, we have provided that Guru Sahib brought the Waheguru mantra and that people cope saying Waheguru is a Hindu mantra/god.
